Over time as more and more people came to live on the island, space began to run out. One night, a group of the city folks gathered together to devise a plan to expand. They hypothesized that if everyone in the city were to jump in the air at the same time, the weight shift would be enough to tip the island suitcase and cause the country folks to slide into the sea. The city-dwellers would then have the room they needed.
