As an aspiring professor, Ms. Baade has held adjunct teaching positions at Washington College, the University of Delaware, Cecil County Community College, and Delaware College of Art and Design. She received her B.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1997, and a Masters in Painting from the University of Delaware in 2003. Currently Carrie is a full-time painter in Philadelphia, accompanied by her singing polydactyl cat.
